To, From is where strangers catch paper and unfold each other’s thoughts in the safety of the digital plane. It is your safe space to rant, journal, write poetry, or anything that comes to mind.
Documented Experiences (DE) is an inclusive safe outspoken platform, creative network, and cultural web magazine for all artistic expression. We wanted to visualize the mission of our web-magazine, which is to be home to unfolded thoughts.
I wrote the script and filmed this video with a friend, May Elzein, who helped with props, execution and animation. To combine the whole video, we contacted a friend video editor, Jana Itani.
We also installed a responses form on our website.
During the Souk El Kotob, which is a local book fair that took place over two days in Lebanon, Mar Mkhael, we put up the purple box filled with publications from our web-magazine, that were folded into paper planes and distributed to passersby who were curious enough to approach.
