








At Takeover, an artist run space in Beirut, Lebanon, Ibrahim Nehme and I hosted and designed a safe space for the curious and the longing.
7 writing circles engaged 30 writers and culminated into an installation. The exhibit was for gathered scraps; writings uncensored, unedited, and written in a space free of judgment or concern for perfection. Free writings on liberation were in the form of: verses, letters, notes, anecdotes, lists, scribbles…
During the exhibit, people were invited to reflect, and write their own verses. Some cut up imaginaries to paste a collective poem.
Kiteverse, a creative writing app, is developing its beta version. This was one of its playgrounds.
